A two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of Heritage Parkway and Washington Street in Sherman caused a delay in traffic, but resulted in no injuries.

Shortly before 5 p.m. a tan Honda sedan was traveling southbound on Heritage Parkway, said Sherman Officer Allen Adams. A blue Ford sedan traveling northbound on Heritage Parkway attempted to turn left onto Washington Street and struck the Honda.

Each car was occupied by one driver, and Adams said he did not think either driver sustained any injuries. Nobody was taken to the hospital.

The accident caused the intersection to be shut down and police officers to direct traffic.
