Original Post: An Austin College student who was last seen March 14 has been declared a missing person.

Juliet Gacheru, a 21-year-old biology senior, has not been seen by friends or family since the week of spring break, said Austin College officials in a written release. She was reported missing last week.

Gacheru is originally from Africa and graduated from Plano Senior High School. She commutes to Austin College from McKinney, where her parents also live, the release said. McKinney police are conducting an investigation.
