POTTSBORO — A motorcycle and truck accident that occurred Thursday evening in Pottsboro has left a Denison man still hospitalized.

POTTSBORO — A motorcycle and truck accident that occurred Thursday evening in Pottsboro has left a Denison man still hospitalized.


At 8:09 p.m., a Chevrolet truck driving southbound on State Highway 289 attempted to turn onto F.M. 406, said Pottsboro Police Chief Shone Nix. In doing so, the truck hit a motorcycle traveling northbound on State Highway 289.


The driver of the truck, a Bonham woman, was uninjured. The motorcyclist, a 59-year-old Denison man, had to be transported to the Medical Center of Plano via air ambulance. As of Monday afternoon, the man is still hospitalized. He sustained multiple broken bones and is believed to be in critical condition, Nix said.


Pottsboro police are investigating the accident.
