HOWE — The Howe City Council will be discussing disaster relief options after last week’s ice storm during a regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at 700 W. Haning. The winter storm, which left most roadways in the region coated in ice, did significant damage to the city streets.

HOWE — The Howe City Council will be discussing disaster relief options after last week’s ice storm during a regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at 700 W. Haning. The winter storm, which left most roadways in the region coated in ice, did significant damage to the city streets.


Other items that will be discussed, considered, or acted upon include:


• a public hearing on a trash container ordinance;


• a public hearing on the establishment of the Keep Howe Beautiful Board;


• a presentation on the library report for 2012-2013;


• Resolution 13-0009, regarding a request for federal judgeship;


• a presentation by the Keep Howe Beautiful Committee;


• action in regards to specific names for all Independent Bank account signature card additions and removals;


• funding reconstruction of the police department offices; and


• departmental reports for the month of October.
