ORIGINAL POST:At the request of Colbert Police Department and Texas Department of Public Safety, Oklahoma Highway Patrol units in Troop E are assisting with turning southbound traffic going into Texas.


U.S. Highway 69/75 from Oklahoma into Texas is closed due to multiple accidents and jackknifed semis. State Highway 91 across the Denison Dam from Bryan County, Okla. into Denison is closed due to accidents and impassable city streets.


S.H 377 from Marshall County, Okla., into Texas is closed due to an accident and an overturned semi tractor-trailer. Interstate 35 south from Ardmore, Okla. Into Texas is closed in Cooke and Denton counties due to numerous jackknifed tractor-trailers.


Traffic southbound on U.S. Highway 69 was at a complete standstill, and motorists were turning around and driving northbound on the southbound side.
