With elections just around the corner, Grayson County commissioners Tuesday will take up some election-related business when they hear a request to declare 50 voting machines as surplus for trade in and consider the maintenance and service agreements with ES&S as a sole-source company.

With elections just around the corner, Grayson County commissioners Tuesday will take up some election-related business when they hear a request to declare 50 voting machines as surplus for trade in and consider the maintenance and service agreements with ES&S as a sole-source company.


In addition, commissioners will consider the following at the 10 a.m. meeting at the Grayson County Courthouse in Sherman:


• a request to approve interlocal agreement with the city of Howe for road repairs;


• a request to approve the replat of Thornberry Estates Lot 2 Phase I and Lot 1;


• a request to approve a replat of Lots 16 and 17, Section 3 Hidden Lakes Ranch off Preston Road;


• a request to approve bid proposal from M and R Real Estate on unsold Sheriff Struck-Off Sale property;


• a request to authorize the solicitation of bids to install electric power at Loy Park;


• a request to authorize the solicitation of bids for the annual supply of steel culverts;


• a request to renew the annual Employee Assistance Program with Deer Oaks; and


• a request to consider and take possible action regarding the creation of one or more County Energy Transportation Reinvestment Zones as well as the appointment of an Advisory Board.
