Grayson County Commissioners will meet twice Tuesday. The first meeting will start at 10 a.m. at the Grayson County Courthouse in Sherman and will see county leaders grapple with routine matters including monthly reports, increases in various fees and voting for the Grayson Central Appraisal District Board of Directors.

The first meeting will start at 10 a.m. at the Grayson County Courthouse in Sherman and will see county leaders grapple with routine matters including monthly reports, increases in various fees and voting for the Grayson Central Appraisal District Board of Directors.


The second meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will focus on weather-related issues like deciding if the county needs to continue its declared state of emergency and how best to go about recouping costs associated with the ice storm that stalled most everything in the county for the last few days.


At the first meeting, commissioners will consider the following;


• a request to approve a road bore for Enterprise Road in Precinct 4;


• a request to authorize the County Clerk to sign a resolution between Landmark Bank and Grayson County Clerk to act as authorized signer for minor Trust Accounts for Registry of the Court;


• a request to approve preservation of the District Clerk’s records with KOFILE;


• a request to approve increasing the archive fee for the District Clerk’s office;


• a request to implement a cost recovery fee for e-filing beginning Jan. 1; and


• a request to discuss casting ballots for the Grayson County Appraisal District Board of Directors.
