Grayson County commissioners will be talking about World War II Tuesday when they consider a proclamation honoring L. B. Kirby. The Court’s agenda said Kirby is "the most decorated living WWII veteran in Texas."

Grayson County commissioners will be talking about World War II Tuesday when they consider a proclamation honoring L. B. Kirby. The Court’s agenda said Kirby is "the most decorated living WWII veteran in Texas."


Commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. at the Grayson County Courthouse in Sherman.


In addition to discussing Kirby, the Court will also consider establishing early voting polling places and hours for the March 4 joint Primary Election.


Commissioner will also consider renewing a maintenance contract with Appriss to maintain the County’s victim notification system. They will also consider retaining Allison, Bass and Associates, L.L.P., to assist with Texas Department of Transportation county road grant.


County leaders will wrap up their meeting talking about the planned 457b plan for county employees.
