The Fannin County Commissioners Court will meet 9 a.m. Monday in the Fannin County Courthouse to discuss, among other agenda items, a proclamation for "National Wear Red Day" and aspects of creating a County Energy Transportation Reinvestment Zone.

The Fannin County Commissioners Court will meet 9 a.m. Monday in the Fannin County Courthouse to discuss, among other agenda items, a proclamation for "National Wear Red Day" and aspects of creating a County Energy Transportation Reinvestment Zone.


The Court will discuss, consider and act on the following agenda items:


• the use of the courthouse parking lot for a car show to be held Feb. 9;


• the use of e-cigarettes inside Fannin County buildings;


• reaffirmation that the present Fannin County policy on holidays applies to all employees of Fannin County;


• the creation of one or more County Energy Transportation Reinvestment Zone (CETRZ), as authorized by law, to promote one or more infrastructure projects to be located within the County to be funded by CETRZ, including the potential boundaries and requirements of a CETRZ, as ordered by the Texas Transportation Code, approval of order authorizing creation of a CETRZ and authorization of the County Judge to sign order authorizing the creation of a CETRZ on behalf of Fannin County;


• the SB 1747 prioritized project list for the County Transportation Infrastructure Fund Grant Program;


• approval of service contract for the Courthouse HVAC annual maintenance agreement, water treatment agreement, upgrades to the water treatment agreement and approval of budget amendment to cover costs from contingency fund. Authorization of County Judge to sign service contract on behalf of Fannin County; and


• payment of bills.
