On Monday, the Denison City Council will hold a regular meeting to vote on the annexation of property at the northwest corner of highways 75 and 691. The Gateway Village development, which will be discussed in the annexation, contains about 427 acres.

On Monday, the Denison City Council will hold a regular meeting to vote on the annexation of property at the northwest corner of highways 75 and 691. The Gateway Village development, which will be discussed in the annexation, contains about 427 acres.


The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 500 W Chestnut St.


Agenda items being discussed, considered, and acted on include:


• Consider an ordinance for a zoning change from Local Retail District to Light Industrial District for property in the 100 block of West Day Street;


• Consider an ordinance for a zoning change from Light Industrial District to Local Retain District for property in the 100 block of West Prospect; and


• Consider adopting a resolution in support of a tax credit housing application on behalf of LDG Developments.
