The Denison City Council will discuss plans for a general and special election, when it meets for a regular meeting, on Monday night. The council will take action on calling for both a general and special election, and coordinating with the school district to prepare for the election. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at City Hall, located at 500 W. Chestnut St. in Denison.

Other items that will be discussed, considered, and acted on include:


• a proposed change to the city vacation policy;


• changes to the City Zoning District ordinance;


• a zone change from Office District to Business Park District on Memorial Drive; and


• a conditional use permit for a rehabilitation care facility on West Morton Street.
