The Boys and Girls Club of Denison offers a place for young people to gather with adult supervision where young people will find a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

The Boys and Girls Club of Denison offers a place for young people to gather with adult supervision where young people will find a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.


The Boys &Girls Club of Denison provides an actual neighborhood building designed solely for youth programs and activities that is open daily after school and all day long during the summer. It has professional staff trained to help children find productive ways to spend their time. The Club reaches out to youngsters who cannot afford, or may lack access to, other community programs.


The Club listed the following on its wish list:


• board games;


• copy paper;


• art&craft supplies including markers, glue sticks, bottles of glue, paper, stickers and stamps;


• Legos;


• Wii and Xbox 360 games;


• a dryer;


• a freezer; and


• athletic balls.
