Commissioners will start the day accepting a check from Gulf Crossing Pipeline for improvements to Elk Road. The $12,806 check will pay for replacing an existing culvert to allow for heavy equipment, like that used by in laying pipelines, to cross.


In addition, the Court will accept a $1,408 insurance payment for guard rail damage on Loftice Road. in Precinct 1. The Court will also consider a request to allow Mona Robnett of the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office to apply for a state Violence Against Women Act grant for fiscal year 2015. The grant has, in the past, been used to pay partial salary for an investigator to work on domestic violence cases.


Commissioners will also consider approving reservations for Loy Park for a 5-K Dash from the Past and Frontier Day event on April 26 and a Civil War event on Oct. 24 and 25.


County leaders will also consider a request to acknowledge the agreement for managing a development program for the North Texas Regional Airport — Perrin Field.
