The CAC also provides therapy children and their non-offending caregivers to help provide healing for the abuse that has occurred. The CAC also reaches out to the community through specialized education programs that aim to teach children how to effectively recognize, resist and report abuse. Adult programs focus on the same aspects and empower those working with children to give voice to otherwise silent victims.

Since 2004, the CAC has provided services to 3,600 alleged child victims of sexual and physical abuse. This holiday season, their wish list includes:

• Foosball table

• Air hockey table

• Laptop

• iHome or speaker dock

• Teen magazine subscriptions (Seventeen, Teen Vogue, Teen Ink, Discovery Girls, etc.)

• New board games (for all ages)
