In celebration of 20 years of serving children, the Fannin County Children’s Center will be having a Platinum Anniversary Celebration at this year’s "Justice Is Served." The event will include dinner, auction and live jazz. Doors open at 6 p.m. Saturday at the multi-purpose complex just west of Bonham.

In celebration of 20 years of serving children, the Fannin County Children’s Center will be having a Platinum Anniversary Celebration at this year’s "Justice Is Served." The event will include dinner, auction and live jazz. Doors open at 6 p.m. Saturday at the multi-purpose complex just west of Bonham.


Morgan Hopson will be back as the auctioneer for the evening. Live auction items include many handcrafted and home baked goods, as well as, gift baskets, gift certificates and other items will also be in the silent auction. The James Dering Quartet will play jazz music for guests. Local judges, police chiefs and others in the justice field will be serving the meal. There will once again be a BB gun shooting contest. Guests can purchase five shots for $5 to try to win prizes and bragging rights.


Proceeds from the event will support a variety of services for promoting safety and improving the lives of abused and neglected children, including CASA and the Children’s Advocacy Center.
