Grayson County commissioners will discuss early voting times and locations for the May 27, joint primary runoff election when they meet Tuesday at the Grayson County Courthouse.

Grayson County commissioners will discuss early voting times and locations for the May 27, joint primary runoff election when they meet Tuesday at the Grayson County Courthouse.


The meeting starts at 10 a.m.


Commissioners will consider approving the following vote centers for early voting:


Grayson County Election Administration, 115 W. Houston in Sherman; Grayson County subcourthouse, 1010 W. Woodard in Denison; Pottsboro Independent School District Administration Building, 105 Cardinal Lane in Pottsboro; Whitesboro City Hall, 111 W. Main in Whitesboro; Grayson College, 1455 W. Van Alstyne Pkwy. in Van Alstyne. If approved, those vote centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 19 through May 23.


Commissioners will also consider approving voting locations for Election Day. The locations will be area wide vote centers which will mean any registered Grayson County voter can cast a ballot at any one of the locations. The locations proposed include:


Bells City Hall, 203 S. Broadway; Collinsville Community Building, 117 N. Main; Southside Baptist Church, 3,500 S. Park in Denison; Grayson County Sub Courthouse, 101 W.Woodard in Denison; Parkside Baptist Church, 301 N. Lillis Lane in Denison; Grayson College, 6101 Grayson Drive in Denison; Faith Baptist Church, 31647 Hwy. 337 N in Gordonville; Howe Community Center, 700 W. Hanning; Pottsboro ISD Administration Building, 105 Cardinal Lane; Sadler Comunity Buidling, 105 W. Main; East Side Babtist Church, 910 E. King in Sherman; United Way of Grayson County, 713 E. Brockett in Sherman; Texoma Council of Governments, 1117 Gallagher Drive in Sherman; Faith Church, 1800 Heritage Pkwy in Sherman; The Municipal Building, 405 N.Rusk in Sherman; Grayson County Election Administration Building, 115 W. Houston in Sherman; Luella First Baptist Church, 3162 Hwy. 11 in Luella; Tioga City Hall, 600 Main in Tioga; First National Bank of Tom Bean, 109 S. Britton; Grayson College, 1455 W. In addition, commissioners will act on a request to receive into their minutes fully executed agreements between Elections Systems and Software, LLC and Grayson County. Commissioners will also consider the following:


• a road bore on Crawford Road in Precinct 4;


• a road bore on Dixie Road in Precinct 4;


• adjusting part-time pay scale for Precinct 4;


• a bid proposal from Stephen T Parry on Sheriff struck-off property;


• declaring a tractor and mower from Pct. 4 as surplus for sale at auction as presented; and


• declaring the listed vehicle from Juvenile as surplus for sale at auction as presented.
