The Grayson County Regional Mobility Authority is expected to discuss and take possible action concerning a music festival when it meets Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Greater Texoma Utility Authority conference room, located at 5100 Airport Drive, in Denison.
The agenda for the meeting lists no details about the event outside of the name “Buck Owens Music Festival.” As the GCRMA’s purview includes North Texas Regional Airport — Perrin Field, the event would likely be located there.
In other matters, the GCRMA board will also discuss individual budgets for the GCRMA itself and NTRA that will be presented to the Grayson County Commissioners Court for approval.
In a closed, executive session, the board will also discuss the following items before reconvening in open session to take any necessary action:
• deliberation of economic development negotiations related to incentives to be considered for prospective tenants;
• consult with an attorney regarding potential litigation; and
• deliberation on business and financial issues relating to a contract that is being negotiated by and for the benefit of the GCRMA.
