Possession —A traffic stop was conducted on Feb. 11 in the 100 block of West Houston Street. An odor of marijuana was emitted from the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and marijuana was found in the vehicle. The female driver was arrested for possession of marijuana less than two ounces.
Terroristic threat — Officers responded on Feb. 9 to a female complainant in the 1600 block of Texoma Parkway. She stated that she had been threatened over the phone by her child’s father, placing her in fear of imminent, serious bodily injury. A report for terroristic threat of family/household was made. The investigation is ongoing.
Driving while license invalid — An officer initiated a traffic stop on Feb. 9 in the 500 block of East Lamar Street. During the stop, the driver was found to have a suspended driver’s license with a previous conviction. An offense report was generated.
Criminal mischief — An officer was dispatched on Feb. 10 to the 800 block of South Vaden Street in reference to damaged property. The female victim stated that she woke up and found a window in the front of her house was broken. A report for criminal mischief less than $100 was generated.
Criminal trespass — An officer was dispatched on Feb. 10 to the 200 block of East Canyon Grove Road in reference to the burglary of a building. Upon investigation, it was determined that a known suspect had criminally trespassed onto the property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
Assault — Officers responded on Feb. 10 to a call from the 400 block of West Tennessee Street. Allegations of an assault were made and a report for assault causing bodily injury family violence was generated.
Public intoxication, prohibited weapon — Officers were called on Feb. 11 to the 2400 block of Texoma Parkway in reference to a male stumbling around in a parking lot. After an investigation, the suspect was arrested for public intoxication and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Assault — Officers were dispatched on Feb. 11 to the 1200 block of West Taylor Street in reference to an assault. Upon investigation it was determined that the victim had been assaulted by a known suspect who then left the scene. The victim reported minor injuries. A report for assault causing bodily injury was taken.
Public intoxication — An officer responded on Feb. 11 to the report of an intoxicated male in the 1800 block of Loy Lake Road. The suspect was located and it was determined that he was intoxicated in a public place and a danger to himself and others. The suspect was arrested for public intoxication.
Deadly conduct — Officers was dispatched on Feb. 11 to the 100 block of East Wilson Street in reference to shots fired. They found that an unoccupied vehicle had been shot two times. A report for deadly conduct discharge firearm was filed.
Driving while license invalid — An officer stopped a vehicle in the 400 block for an expired registration. The female driver was found to have a suspended driver’s license with no valid insurance on the vehicle. She also showed to have warrants from Grayson County and the city of Sherman. The driver was arrested for driving while license invalid without financial responsibility and the active warrants.
Burglary of a vehicle — A male complainant stated on Feb. 5 that a suspect stole several items from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked at an auto repair shop in the 4800 block of North State Highway 91. The items included a knife, phone charger and various other items.
Theft — A male complainant reported on Feb. 5 that a suspect stole the license plate from his vehicle.
Assault — Officers responded on Feb. 5 to the call of a fight in progress in the 800 block of West Shepherd. The complainant stated that a relative assaulted her and another relative and then left the house. The male suspect was located near the house and was arrested for assault causing bodily injury/family violence.
Outstanding warrant — A vehicle was stopped on Feb. 8 for a traffic violation in the 900 block of West Shepherd. The male driver was arrested for an outstanding parole warrant.
Public intoxication — Officers responded on Feb. 8 to a disturbance call in the 1200 block of West Chestnut. A male suspect was arrested for public intoxication.
Driving while intoxicated — A vehicle was stopped on Feb. 9 for a traffic violation in the 100 block of East Woodard. The male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated second offense.
Public intoxication — Officers responded on Feb. 9 to the call of an individual refusing to leave a nightclub in the 1700 block of South Armstrong. The female suspect was arrested for public intoxication.
Burglary of a vehicle — A complainant stated on Feb. 9 that an unknown suspect entered his vehicle in the 600 block of West Main and removed a photo ID badge for his place of employment and some keys. The complainant did not know whether the vehicle was locked or not.
Public intoxication — Officers responded on Feb. 9 to the call of an intoxicated person in the 5000 block of U.S. Highway 75. The male suspect was arrested for public intoxication.
