A Grayson County grand jury Wednesday returned an indictment for two counts of accident involving injury or death against Colin Talbert, 24, of Cornith.
According to previously published reports, the charges stem from a wreck that occurred on U.S. Highway 75 near Crawford Street in Denison back in March. Denison Police Department Lt. Mike Eppler said a Toyota Camry struck a Scion that was traveling northbound on Hwy. 75 near Crawford Street. The Scion rolled and came to a stop upside down. Two people, he said, were found inside the Scion. They were transported to local hospitals with what Eppler described as non-life-threatening injuries.
When police found the Camry believed to be involved in the wreck, Talbert was identified as the driver. He was arrested for driving with an invalid license and accident involving accident or death.
The indictments are formal charges and are not an indication of guilt.
