Assault causing bodily injury — Offices responded on Nov. 12 to the report of a male pushing a female into traffic. The male suspect was identified by witnesses and he was arrested for assault causing bodily injury/family violence and was transported to the Grayson County Jail.
Theft of property — Dispatch received a call on Nov. 10 reporting a theft in the 400 block of East U.S. Highway 82. Officers responded, and conducted an investigation, which revealed that $117.05 worth of merchandise had been stolen. A suspect was arrested, and a report for theft from $100 to $750 was filed.
Assault causing bodily injury — An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of North U.S. Highway 75 in reference to an assault. He conducted an investigation and determined that a female suspect physically assaulted two other females. A report for assault causing bodily injury was generated.
Found property — An officer responded on Nov. 10 to the report of a possible burglary in the 1000 block of Patricia Drive. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with two parties who stated that they saw a male suspect standing by their vehicle looking inside it. They confronted the suspect and he dropped a bicycle and ran to a vehicle parked across the street. A found property report was completed.
Theft of property — Officers were dispatched on Nov. 11 to a business in the 400 block of East U.S. Highway 82 in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, they learned that two female suspects had concealed items and left the store without paying for them. The suspects were arrested for theft and transported to the Grayson County Jail.
Possession of marijuana — An officer was following up on Nov. 11 on a fatal vehicle case that occurred in the 2800 block of East Tuck Street. While doing an inventory on the vehicle involved, the officer found a bag of marijuana inside the vehicle. A report for possession of marijuana was filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
Public intoxication — An officer responded on Nov. 11 to a disturbance at a business in the 500 block of South Walnut Street. It was reported that a male suspect was drinking alcoholic beverages and yelling at customers. The officer located the suspect and determined that he was intoxicated. The suspect was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the Grayson County Jail.
Found property — Dispatch received a call on Nov. 11 in reference to lost property in the 100 block of East Taylor Street. Officers were sent to a business at that location, and they made contact with an employee of the business. The property was recovered, and a report for found property was completed.
Aggravated robbery — Dispatch received a call on Nov. 11 in reference to a male who had been robbed in the 1800 block of Texoma Parkway. He reported that two males grabbed him from behind and hit him on the head. The two suspects stole $200 from him. A report for aggravated robbery was completed.
Public intoxication — Officers responded on Nov. 11 to the report of an intoxicated male who was asleep. On scene, the officers located a male suspect sleeping next to an air conditioning unit. The suspect was arrested for public intoxication.
Driving while intoxicated — Officers were dispatched on Nov. 12 to a minor accident in the 2100 block of Texoma Parkway. Upon arrival, they found the male driver of one of the vehicles involved to be intoxicated. The suspect was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Burglary of a motor vehicle — Dispatch received a call on Nov. 12 to report found property in the 400 block of Alta Vista Drive. Officers were sent to the location, and they seized the property in question for safekeeping. A report for found property was completed.
Possession of marijuana — An officer observed a vehicle commit a red light violation near the intersection of Grand and Pacific. A traffic stop was conducted and the strong odor of marijuana was present and coming from the driver’s window. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed 2.4 ounces of marijuana. The male driver was arrested for possession of marijuana from two to four ounces in a drug free zone and taken to the Grayson County Jail.
Theft of property — A male reported on Nov. 13 that his vehicle was stolen from the 1000 block of East Epstein Street. He stated that the vehicle was valued at $500. A report for theft of property from $100 to $750 was completed.
Possession of a controlled substance — An officer was dispatched on Nov. 13 to the 2100 block of Texoma Parkway in reference to a possible intoxicated person stepping into traffic. The officer found a female suspect in a nearby parking lot. The suspect had an active warrant for criminal trespass in Grayson County, and she was found to possess a glass meth pipe with residue inside that tested positive for methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested for the warrant and for possession of a controlled substance PG1 less than one gram.
