Loud, disturbing and unnecessary noise — Dispatch received a call on Nov. 7 in reference to a noise disturbance in the 400 block of South Sam Rayburn Freeway. When they arrived, the male suspect continued to cause the noise disturbance, and was arrested for loud disturbing and unnecessary noise.
Driving while intoxicated — Dispatch received a call on Nov. 5 to report a possible intoxicated driver seen at the intersection of U.S. Highway 82 and Highway 289. The reporting party stated that the vehicle in question was all over the roadway. Officers located the vehicle and were successful in getting the male driver to stop. An investigation was conducted, and the driver was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Assault by contact family violence — Officers responded on Nov. 6 to the report of an assault in the 3200 block of Calais Street. It was determined that an assault did occur, and a report for assault by contact/family violence was generated.
Found property — A citizen reported on Nov. 7 the finding of property in the 3600 block of South U.S. Highway 75. Officers were dispatched and they learned that the property had been left by a previous tenant. The property was seized, pending its return to the owner. A report for found property was filed.
Found property — The public safety administrator made contact on Nov. 7 with a female reporting party in reference to found property. The female stated that on Oct. 28 she found currency that did not belong to her. The currency went unclaimed. A report for found property was generated.
Found property — Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West FM 1417 for found property. A report was filed.
Assault causing bodily injury/family member — Officers arrived on Nov. 8 in the 1600 block of East Lamar Street to follow up on a criminal mischief case from the week before. Their investigation revealed an assault had occurred leading to the criminal mischief. A report was generated for assault causing bodily injury/family member.
Burglary of a vehicle — The public safety administrator made contact on Nov. 8 with a female complainant in the 1500 block of Crescent Drive. The complainant stated that a suspect took her wallet out of her vehicle. A report for burglary of a vehicle was filed.
Assault causing bodily injury — An officer was dispatched on Nov. 8 to the 1400 block of North Brents Avenue in response to a report of assault. An investigation was conducted which revealed that a male punched another male. A report for assault causing bodily injury was generated.
Assault causing bodily injury — An officer responded on Nov. 8 to a male complainant in the 900 block of South Heritage Parkway. The complainant stated that someone hit him in the back of the head, but he would not tell the officer who it was. A report for assault causing bodily injury was filed.
Theft of property — The public safety administrator made contact with a female complainant in reference to theft. The complainant stated that a suspect stole her cellphone. A report for theft was generated.
Burglary of a vehicle — The public safety administrator spoke on Nov. 9 with a male reporting party about a theft that took place in the 1400 block of Western Hills Drive. A report for theft was completed.
Criminal mischief — The public safety administrator made contact on Nov. 9 with a female complainant in reference to criminal mischief. The complainant stated that a suspect broke a window in her residence. A report for criminal mischief was filed.
Assault by threat — A citizen reported on Nov. 9 that she was threatened in the 1800 block of Texoma Parkway. A report for assault by threat was completed.
Criminal mischief — The public safety administrator responded on Nov. 9 to a report of criminal mischief in the 900 block of East Wells Avenue. The male reporting party stated that a suspect damaged his vehicle. A report for criminal mischief was generated.
Aggravated robbery — Officers were dispatched on Nov. 9 to the 200 block of South Sam Rayburn Freeway in response to a robbery. Upon arrival, they learned a man had entered a store and robbed the cashier at gunpoint, and then fled on foot. The officers were unable to locate the suspect. A case for aggravated robbery was generated, and the investigation is ongoing.
Unlawful possession of firearm by felon — Officers were dispatched on Nov. 10 to the 2400 block of South First Street in response to a disturbance. Their investigation revealed that the suspect was a convicted felon and had possession of a firearm. No injuries were reported. A report was taken and the suspect was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Assault by contact — A citizen reported being slapped on Nov. 10 in the 1800 block of West Washington Street. A report was taken for assault by contact.
