The Sherman Police Department has released photos of three unidentified suspects who allegedly used stolen credit cards to make purchases at area stores over the weekend.

Sgt. D.M. Hampton said the three suspects, one male and two females, stole the credit cards from a woman while she was working at her office in the 2800 block of U.S. Highway 75 on Saturday. The three then used the cards to make unauthorized purchases at several stores the same day, but Hampton said he did not know what the suspects bought or how much they spent.

“Using a credit card that doesn’t belong to you is a felony,” Hampton said.

The Sherman Police sergeant said the department hopes readers will either recognize the suspects or post the photos to their own accounts.

“We just want to get them identified,” Hampton said of the suspects. “We don’t know if they’re local or not. So that’s why it’s important for people to share that on their social media accounts and maybe they’ll get to some people who can identify them.”

Anyone with information regarding the suspects is encouraged to call the Sherman Police Department at 903-892-7290.
