Public intoxication — Officers were dispatched on Oct. 15 to the 100 Block of West FM 1417 in reference to a drunk woman passed out in her car. Officers arrived and conducted an investigation. After the investigation, the female suspect was arrested for public intoxication, and booked into the Grayson County Jail.
Driving while intoxicated — An officer conducted a traffic stop on Oct. 15 in the 4800 block of Texoma Parkway. The male driver of the vehicle was suspected of being intoxicated. After field sobriety tests were conducted, it was determined that the driver was intoxicated. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Found property — An officer was dispatched on Oct. 15 to the 800 block of North Cleveland to speak with a caller who had found drug paraphernalia outside of their house. A marijuana grinder and pipe were seized, and a found property report was generated.
Found property — A detective was dispatched on Oct. 15 to a business in the 100 block of FM 1417 in reference to found property. Someone had left a diaper bag at the business. A report for found property was generated.
Possession — A traffic stop was conducted on Oct. 16 in the 2700 block of Texoma Parkway. The female driver of the vehicle consented to a search of her vehicle. Marijuana was found in the driver's purse, and she was arrested for possession of marijuana less than two ounces.
Driving while license invalid — An officer conducted a traffic stop on Oct. 17 in the 100 block of U.S. Highway 75. The male driver of the vehicle did not have a driver's license, and his ID card was suspended. He also had a previous conviction for driving while his license was invalid. The driver was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous suspension and for showing no financial responsibility.
Possession and failure to identify — Dispatch received a call on Oct. 17 of a suspicious male walking in the 500 block of South Gribble Street. Officers located a male walking on the wrong side of the roadway. The male suspect was found to be in possession of narcotics, and he lied about his identity. The suspect was arrested and taken to the Grayson County Jail.
Assault — A detective responded on Oct. 17 to a female complainant in the 1800 block South Walnut Street. She stated that another female assaulted her and a male choked her, which impeded her breath. Reports for both offenses were generated.
Public intoxication — Dispatch received a call on Oct. 17 in reference to an intoxicated person in the 100 block of West Forest Avenue. The male suspect was located, and was determined to be intoxicated, posing a danger to himself and others. He was arrested for public intoxication.
Public intoxication — Dispatch received a call Oct. 17 from a business in the 2800 block North US Highway 75 about an intoxicated male. Upon officers' arrival, the male suspect was located and determined to be highly intoxicated. He was arrested for public intoxication.
Credit or debit card abuse — A citizen entered police headquarters on Oct. 17 to report that her credit card had been stolen and used by an unknown suspect. A report was generated for credit card or debit card abuse. The investigation is ongoing.
Theft — An officer responded on Oct. 18 to the 1600 block of West Lamar Street in reference to a theft. The victim reported that equipment had been stolen and gave a description of the items. A report was generated for theft of property from $100-$750.
Traffic stop — An officer stopped a vehicle on Oct. 10 in the 300 block of West Munson for traffic violations. The male driver was arrested for driving while license suspended and for outstanding Grayson County warrants.
Burglary — A victim reported on Oct. 10 that an unknown suspect entered a residence in the 200 block of Smith Drive and took food and miscellaneous items. The department will follow up on leads.
Possession — A vehicle was stopped on Oct. 10 in the 1900 block of South Mirick for a traffic violation. The female driver was arrested for possession of marijuana less than two ounces.
Hit and run — Officers located a tan van on Oct. 11 in the 700 block of South Mirick that appeared to have struck a mailbox and utility pole and then was abandoned. The investigation will continue.
Criminal mischief — A complainant stated on Oct. 11 that a suspect broke the glass on a screen door of a residence he owns in the 2900 block of West Elm.
