A Denison woman was arrested earlier this week after authorities say she pulled a gun out during an argument and pointed it at a man.

The Denison Police Department said the woman was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault after she allegedly pointed a gun at a man as he attempted to leave a residence in the 2100 block of Randell Lake Road on Sunday night.

“She didn’t shoot and nobody was hurt, but her pulling the gun, that ‘s where the charge came from,” Lt Mike Eppler said.

Eppler said he did not know whether the woman and the man knew one another or what the two had argued about before the incident.

The woman remains in the Grayson County Jail, where her bond is set at $15,000.
