The board of directors of the Sherman Economic Development Corp. will choose new officers for the 2017-2018 fiscal year during its regular meeting at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the SEDCO office, 307 W. Washington St., Suite 102.


After considering prior minutes for approval, the board will go into a closed, executive session to discuss 14 economic development projects and real property on three other projects.


Following the executive session, the board will return to an open meeting to take any actions deemed necessary and to receive an economic barometer report and business retention and expansion update from SEDCO staff. SEDCO President John Plotnik will also present his monthly president’s report to the board.


Sherman Independent School District Superintendent David Hicks, who is an ex-officio member of the SEDCO board, will give those in attendance a presentation on the district’s upcoming bond election.
