Striking fixture/highway landscape — An officer responded on Sept. 9 to a call reporting a crashed vehicle in the 1700 block of Texoma Parkway. The caller stated that she didn’t see a driver or anyone standing near the vehicle. When the officer arrived, the vehicle was gone. Reasonable efforts were made to locate the driver.


Theft — Officers responded on Sept. 8 to a male complainant in the 5600 block of Texoma Parkway. He reported that a suspect came into the store and stole one of his personal e-cigarettes. The victim stated that the item cost approximately $296. A report for theft from $100 to $750 was generated. The investigation is ongoing.


Fraud — A citizen entered police headquarters on Sept. 8 to report the fraudulent use of personal identifiers. An account was created in the victim’s name without authorization. A report for fraudulent use/possession of personal identifiers was generated.


Assault — An officer was dispatched on Sept. 8 to the 1200 block of West Taylor Street. An investigation revealed that an assault had occurred, and a suspect was arrested. A report for assault causing bodily injury to a family member was filed.


Forgery — Officers responded on Sept. 8 to the report of a female suspect attempting to pass a stolen check in the 300 block of East Taylor Street. When the officers arrived, the suspect had left the scene. They spoke with the reporting party and took several items for evidence, including surveillance video and an ID card. Later, the officers located the suspect in the 900 block of West Hillcrest Street, and she was arrested for forgery of a financial instrument.


Robbery — Officers were dispatched on Sept. 8 to the 3900 block of Texoma Parkway in reference to a robbery. The victim reported that a customer came into a business and assaulted him and then left after taking his cellphone. A report for robbery was generated, and the investigation is ongoing.


Burglary — An officer responded on Sept. 8 to a female complainant in the 1600 block of East FM 1417. She stated that the father of her children entered her residence uninvited and attempted to take one of the children with whom they share custody. In the course of doing so, the suspect slapped the reporting party causing her pain. A report for burglary of a habitation was filed.


Accident involving injury — An officer was dispatched on Sept. 8 to a hit and run call in the 1000 block of North Travis Street. The caller reported that he was riding a skateboard and was hit from behind by a red Chrysler 200 that fled the scene. The victim notified dispatch he was in the 200 block of East Canyon Creek Road. A report was generated for accident involving injury.
