Denison Police say they will refer a possible case of aggravated assault and family violence to the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office after one adult brother took a baseball bat to another.
The fight, officials say, was over a cell phone charger. The incident occurred on Sunday at a residence in the 1800 block of State Highway 91.
“They got into an argument over this cell phone charger,” Lt. Mike Eppler said. “So the suspect goes and gets a baseball bat out of his car and comes back to find the other brother has locked the door. Well, he climbs in through a window and hits him with the bat and then he leaves.”
Eppler said the younger brother, age 36, was hit once in the left temple, but refused medical treatment. The Denison Police lieutenant said he was not sure if officers had made contact with the older brother as of Tuesday afternoon, but said they would do so soon, if they hadn’t already.
