The Denison City Council will continue talks on setting a budget for the city and partner organizations when it meets Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Denison City Hall. The city will hold a public hearing regarding the budget, which is expected to be considered for approval during a Sept. 18 meeting. The council will also discuss the proposed budgets for the Denison Development Alliance and Convention & Visitors Bureau.


Other items that will be discussed include:


• a report on unsafe conditions at properties located at 1700 W. Walker and 2830 Stafford; and


• a conditional use permit for an auto dealer for a property located at 721 S. Crockett Ave.


In a closed, executive session, the council will discuss pending litigation regarding 715 W. Sears and an update on DDA negotiations and projects before reconvening to take any necessary actions.
