The Sherman Independent School District’s Citizens Advisory Committee will hold a public forum on the district’s facility plans and potential bond package Wednesday at Sherman High School from 6-8 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about various topics, including possible bond projects, tax impacts, district finances, enrollment and demographics. As part of the forum, participants are encouraged to visit topic-specific information stations where they may submit comments and suggestions. A Q&A session will also be held after those in attendance have had the opportunity to gather information.

“The purpose of this meeting is to seek input from the community and share the work of our Citizens Advisory Committee,” Sherman ISD Superintendent David Hicks said in an emailed statement. “We are responding to the comments we have received throughout this process and want to invite the community to come together and contribute its voice to this important initiative.”
