While the investigation is continuing into a Saturday night shooting that left one man injured, Denison Police have identified the victim.

Police identified the victim as 20-year-old Damian Boyd, who was flown to a Dallas area hospital after police found that he had been shot in the right side and right calf. Police responded to the shooting, which occurred at Munson Park shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday.

Police previously said Boyd’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, and he was conscious when emergency personnel made contact.

A suspect has not been named, and police have not released details for how or why the shooting occurred. Denison Police Lt. Mike Eppler said he did not have any new information to release, and said he did not have updated information on the victim’s condition Monday.
