The Pottsboro Independent School District’s board of trustees will meet Monday for further discussion of the bond proposal package before the district.

Trustees met earlier this week and spent hours trimming the package down to a total of $54 million, after a $61-million iteration was first proposed to the board in February. The proposal includes a new $27 million elementary school, a $15.6 million renovation of the middle school, $2.8 million in renovations to Pottsboro High School and $2.5 million in district-wide technology upgrades.

The board will also consider updates to district policies and review various financial reports.

The meeting will be held at 5:45 p.m. in the Pottsboro ISD administration building, located 105 Cardinal Lane in Pottsboro. For additional information, call 903-771-0083.
