A woman with an infant in her vehicle was arrested for driving while intoxicated after Denison Police pulled her over following a possible road rage incident Thursday night.

A woman driving on U.S. Highway 69 between Denison and Bells called police after another vehicle was allegedly driving dangerously behind her, according to the Denison Police report. Denison Police Lt. Mike Eppler said the vehicle, driving fast, approached the woman, flashed headlights and was attempting to pass on the right. The victim called police, and dispatchers directed her toward the police department. The suspect followed.

Eppler said an officer observed the vehicles near the department and pulled the suspect over in the west parking lot of the building. Police arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15. Eppler said the child was about 9 months old.
