Theft — An officer made telephone contact with a female complainant in reference to a theft. She stated that a Hispanic male entered Ulta Beauty in the 4100 block of North U.S. Highway 75. Once inside, he selected 30 bottles of perfume and cologne from the fragrance section and placed them inside his pants. He then exited the store without paying for the merchandise. A report for theft was filed.
Possession — Officers responded on May 15 to the 300 block of North Heritage Parkway in reference to a disturbance. A plastic bag of marijuana was located inside the residence. A suspect was arrested, with a report being filed for possession of marijuana less than two ounces.
Theft — An officer made contact on May 15 with a male complainant who reported a suspect entering a store in the 400 block of East Highway 82 on May 1. Once inside, the suspect selected several items and then exited the store without paying for the merchandise. A report for theft was filed.
Burglary — An officer made contact on May 16 with a female in reference to burglary of a vehicle. Earlier that day, a suspect gained entry into the complainant’s vehicle parked at her residence in the 3100 block of Versailles Drive. A report for burglary of a vehicle was filed.
Theft — Officers responded to the 400 block of East U.S. Highway 82 westbound. It was reported that a female had stolen several clothing items from a store and fled on foot. The suspect was caught a short time later and arrested for theft of property $100-$750 and failure to identify.
Found property — An officer was given a black zipper-style wallet on May 16 that had been left at a business in the 500 block of West Lamar Street. Attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful, and the wallet was submitted to property/evidence for safekeeping.
Assault — Officers responded on May 17 to the 800 block of West Freeman Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, they separated the parties and filed a report for assault.
Assault — An officer responded on May 17 to a female complainant in reference to a verbal assault. The complainant stated that another female had verbally threatened her. A report for assault by threat was filed.
Found property — An officer responded on May 17 to a female party at the Sherman Police Department in reference to found property. She stated that she found a Mexico identification card on May 16 in the 1100 block of South Valentine Drive. The card was turned in, and a report for found property was filed.
Theft — An officer responded on May 17 to the 2500 block of South First Street in reference to a stolen trailer. The complainant stated that his trailer had been stolen, and a report for theft of property $2,500-$30,000 was filed.
Credit card abuse — A citizen reported on May 17 that he lost his wallet on May 15 in the 3000 block of Loy Lake Road. On that same night, someone used his credit card without his permission. A report for credit card or debit card abuse was filed.
Criminal mischief — A complainant reported on May 17 that someone damaged their front door. A report for criminal mischief was filed.
