The board of directors of the Sherman Economic Development Corp. will discuss its financials for the first quarter of 2017 during a special meeting Wednesday at noon at 307 W. Washington St., suite 102.
The special meeting is being held on Wednesday as part of SEDCO’s Economic Development Week celebration instead of the normal Tuesday morning time. In addition to a presentation on the organization’s financials, the board will also consider approving the investment report for the first quarter and an incentive schedule.
The board will then go into a closed executive session to discuss 12 potential economic development projects and real property concerns on four other projects. Following the executive session, the board will return to open session to take any actions deemed necessary.
SEDCO staff will also present the economic barometer report and the business retention and expansion update, and President John Plotnik will give his monthly report to the board.
