Grayson College’s board of trustees will meet Tuesday at 3 p.m. to further discuss construction of the school’s new middle skills classroom and the distillery it plans to pair with the college’s viticulture and enology program.
The planned distillery is slated to be built at the site of Grayson’s standing vineyard, which is situated just east of North Texas Regional Airport — Perrin Field. The proposed $1.25 million manufacturing classroom is intended to be built as an addition to Grayson’s standing Career Technology Center.
College administrators have previously said they intend to have both facilities open and operational by the spring of 2018 and have named Plyler Construction to serve as the construction manager at risk.
Grayson College is located at 6101 Grayson Drive in Denison. The meeting will be held in the board room of the college’s Administrative Services Building. For additional information, call 903-465-6030.
