A suspect allegedly punched a 72-year-old man after the victim bumped into the suspect inside the Sherman Wal-Mart Sunday afternoon.
Police are asking for help identifying the suspect who allegedly committed the assault at about 12:40 p.m. Sherman Police Sgt. D.M. Hampton said the victim reported the suspect struck him in the upper arm after he accidentally bumped into the man.
Hampton said the victim did not require medical attention, but the assault caused him to be knocked backward, leaving him with a large bruising area and a bump.
A surveillance image taken from the store shows the suspect leave with a woman. The suspect has gray facial hair and was wearing jeans and a dark button-up shirt.
