Sherman Police


Theft — An officer made telephone contact on Nov. 29 with a male reporting party in reference to a theft. A white male suspect entered Lowe’s Home Improvement located in the 2800 block of North Highway 75 on Nov. 22. Once inside the store, the suspect selected two items of merchandise. The suspect then walked to the front of the store where he returned the items without a receipt, and received a store merchandise card valued at $317. A report for theft was generated.


Criminal mischief— Sherman Police dispatch received a call on Nov. 29 about criminal mischief at Home Town Dental, located in the 3800 block of North U.S. Highway 75. Upon officers’ arrival the caller advised an upset customer kicked and damaged the door. A criminal mischief report was generated.


Burglary — Sherman dispatch received a call on Nov. 29 in reference to a burglary in the 400 block of North Grand Avenue. An officer arrived and spoke with the victim. Multiple items were taken from the home. A burglary of a habitation report was generated.


Denison Police


Theft — A victim in the 5000 block of U.S. Highway 75 South said on Nov. 28 that an unknown suspect stole her purse from inside of a patient room.


Traffic stop — A vehicle was stopped in the 1200 block of South Rusk for a traffic violation on Nov. 28. A juvenile passenger in the vehicle was arrested for possession of marijuana under two ounces.


Traffic stop — A vehicle was stopped in the 600 block of North Tone for a traffic violation on Nov. 29. The driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.


Arrest — Officers responded on Nov. 29 to a disturbance call in the 1800 block of Mockingbird Lane. A man was arrested for disorderly conduct for language use.
