PASADENA, Calif. — Mandy Brown and Jim Westrick, both of Los Angeles, were wed Oct. 19 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Pasadena, Calif. Officiating was Fr. Michael Wakefield.

PASADENA, Calif. — Mandy Brown and Jim Westrick, both of Los Angeles, were wed Oct. 19 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Pasadena, Calif. Officiating was Fr. Michael Wakefield.


The bride is the daughter of Paula Brown and the late Jim Brown of Bonham. Her grandparents are Jessie Pearce and the late Richard Pearce of Denison. She is a 1997 graduate of Savoy High School and a 2002 honors graduate of Penn State University, earning bachelor of arts degrees in theatre arts and film/video. She works as an actress, most recently starring in Leaving Limbo.


The groom is the son of Ed and Karen Westrick of Ebensburg, Pa. His grandparents are James and Joyce Westrick of Patton, Pa., and Rita Noel and the late Leonard Noel of Nicktown, Pa. He is a 1997 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School in Ebensburg, Pa., and a 2002 graduate from Penn State University where he had a double major in film/video and business. He works as an assistant editor in the television industry.


Maid of honor was Esther Shalome and matron of honor was Kelly Costello.


Best men were the groom’s brothers, Kevin Westrick and Scott Westrick.


Ushers were Michael Batz and Joe Beaty, cousins of the groom, Jareth Costello and Scott Travers.


Wedding music was provided by Sue Ponder, aunt of the bride, and Amanda Willie, vocalists, Rudy Acosta and Chris Harper, pianist.


Wedding coordinator was Carol Peterson.


A reception was held in the Pasadena Playhouse. Assisting was Kristen Hammack.


The couple took a wedding trip to Ferndale and the Redwood National Park in California.
