PITTSBURG, Texas — Seventh through 12th grade students at Grayson Christian School participated in the Texas Organization of Christian Schools (TOCS) Arts and Academics Competition on March 7. Academic tests were completed on campus in February and the remainder of the competition was held in Pittsburg.

PITTSBURG, Texas — Seventh through 12th grade students at Grayson Christian School participated in the Texas Organization of Christian Schools (TOCS) Arts and Academics Competition on March 7. Academic tests were completed on campus in February and the remainder of the competition was held in Pittsburg.


The following GCS students placed in the competition: Nick Baumann, 12th grade - first place in political science/economics and third place in United States history/geography; Kara Willits, ninth grade - first place in algebra I and third place in small ensemble; Colin Ashlock, ninth grade - third place in algebra I; Kirsten Webster, ninth grade - second place in New Testament, third place in Spanish, third place in small ensemble and third place in HS photography/still life; Savanna Pate, 10th grade - third place in home economics; and Samantha Earnhart, seventh grade - first place in JH photography/landscape.
