The Children’s Chorus of Greater North Texas will be performing three Christmas concerts this month. All of the concerts are free and open to the public. Donations are accepted and appreciated.

On Saturday, the group will be performing at 2 p.m. at Southern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. The performance will be part of the SHARE Children’s Chorus, directed by Dr. Jeri Walker. The CCGNT will be performing Tomorrow Will Be My Dancing Day, I Saw Three Ships by John Rutter, Come To Us by Anna Laura Page of Sherman, Carol of the Bells, O Come, O Come Emanuel by Natalie Sleeth and Hine Ma Tov, arranged by Henry Leck. Both choirs will sing together as well, performing We Wish You A Happy Holiday by George Strid and There Has To Be A Song by Andrea Ramsey.

Joining in the concert will be the Bel Canto Singers (mentors to the CCGNT), singing Winter’s On Its Way by John Carter and A Christmas Blessing by Philip Stopford. The singers will then sing One Candle by Andy Beck with the concert choir.

The CCGNT will perform a concert at 7 p.m. on Dec. 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sherman, and a third concert on Dec. 10 at 12:30 p.m. at Grandy’s Restaurant in Sherman for Grayson County retired school personnel.
