Glenn and Virginia Fulton of Sherman were honored Oct. 19 with a 50th wedding anniversary celebration at the Sherman Nazarene Church. Hosts were their children and their spouses, Donny and Amber Fulton, Susan Fulton, Sharon and Jason Crouch and Tim and Stefanie Fulton.

Glenn and Virginia Fulton of Sherman were honored Oct. 19 with a 50th wedding anniversary celebration at the Sherman Nazarene Church. Hosts were their children and their spouses, Donny and Amber Fulton, Susan Fulton, Sharon and Jason Crouch and Tim and Stefanie Fulton.


The Fultons were married Oct. 18. 1963 in Dallas.


Virginia Fulton was born in Dunbar, the daughter of Oscar and Rhoda Bishop. She graduated from Liberty Eylau High School in Texarkana, attended Tarrant County College and was active in scouting, school organizations, the community and church activities.


Glenn Fulton was born in Durant, Oklahoma, the son of Lloyd and Sadie Keith Fulton. He graduated from Garland High School and the University of Texas at Arlington and is retired from Texas Instruments/MEMC after 32-plus years of service.


The Fultons have nine grandchildren and are active members of the Sherman Church of the Nazarene.
