The morning assembly will meet at 11:15 a.m. and the lay-led congregation will watch a special hourlong video message, “Step by Step: the Ruby Bridges Suite.” It is the story of Ruby Bridges, the trailblazing African-American girl who, at age 6, integrated the New Orleans Public Schools in 1960.


The video will also present renowned pianist Darrell Grant’s cantata featuring outstanding choirs, musicians and vocalists from around the country.
