Kirby headlines TCS all-district selections
HERALD DEMOCRAT
Texoma Christian junior middle blocker Lauren Kirby was named the Most Valuable Player of TAPPS District 4-2A as voted on by the district coaches.
Kirby helped the Lady Eagles to a share of the district title with McKinney Christian and a second-round playoff appearance.
She was a first-team all-district selection along with MacKenzie Kolb, Delaney Ortega and Kharissa Rallis, who was also selected to the district's sportsmanship team.
Elizabeth Heiser and Lindsey Walston were second-team all-district selections while Kathryn Sild and Rylie McConnell were honorable mention picks.
