Van Alstyne Police

Dec. 29, 200 block North Preston (Van Alstyne police station), A Van Alstyne man, 56, drove through the police station parking lot, then drove off into the deep ditch on its south side. The man was jailed on a charge of DWI, 3rd or more offense. He posted $5,000 bail the next afternoon.

Jan. 1, 1000 block W. Van Alstyne Parkway, Police jailed a Van Alstyne man, 37, on a DWI charge. The driver posted $1,500 bonds the next day.

No date, 300 block Williamsburg, Police cited several juveniles on charges of disorderly conduct. Barnes said the juveniles had for several weeks been knocking on people's doors, then running away.
