Sherman Police

Several criminal mischief incidents reported Monday have caused damages estimated to be in the thousands of dollars.

Criminal mischief over $1,500 -- June 22, 700 Northcreek, (New Quest Properties), Windows were shot a total of three times, and two of those windows cost about $1,500 each to replace.

Graffiti -- June 22, 17007 Baker (VFW Post 2772), Someone spray painted what police described as gang-related symbols on the building, using blue paint.

Criminal mischief -- June 22, 800 block East McGee, The complainant's son threw a stereo speaker against a door, putting a hole in the door.

Assault -- June 22, 1600 block East F.M. 1417, A woman stated to police that her husband pushed her down twice, leaving visible injuries on her hands and legs. No arrests have been made.

Burglary -- June 22, 2200 block East Lamar, Between 4 -5 p.m. Monday, someone took a billfold from a parked vehicle.

Durant P.D.

Assault -- June 22, 6:47 p.m., North 4th and Mulberry, A man was choking the female passenger in his vehicle. He was arrested.
