Durant PoliceRobbery -- June 19, 5 a.m., S. 9th Avenue, a Man said he had been robbed at gunpoint by two men in a red 2-door hatchback. They took his winnings from Choctaw Casino. Burglary -- June 21, 1 p.m., 500 block Wilson, A complainant told police that he had left his 1994 red Chevrolet S-10 pickup parked, and he later discovered someone had burglarized it.
Sherman Police
Arson -- June 19, 4:58 a.m., 1700 block South Travis, A car fire extinguished by the Sherman Fire Department is believed have been deliberately set, according to the automobile's owner.
Assault -- June 19, 1:31 a.m., 1000 block South Vaden, A complainant told the officer she was kicked in the chest by a man.
Assault by contact -- June 19, 11:47 p.m., 1400 block South F.M. 1417, Two females argued and one of them pushed the other in the head. One was arrested on a charge of possession of controlled substance.
Drugs -- June 20, 3:23 a.m., 1300 block East Lewis, A woman told police another person had choked and punched her, then left. The report said the suspect threw out some narcotics as he fled, and those were seized as evidence.
Assault -- June 20, 9:35 p.m., 800 block South Travis, Someone called police to an assault and the report said a man had punched another one in the face because the victim had "touched the suspect's wife in an inappropriate way."
Assault -- June 21, 11:40 p.m., 1600 block Lasalle. A woman reported that her live-in boyfriend hit her in the face with his fist.
Assault on elderly -- June 19, 1900 block West Pecan, A woman only days out of jail on a previous charge of disorderly conduct-cursing went back to jail on a charge of assaulting an elderly person, her grandmother.
