Denison PoliceBurglary -- Sunday, 501 North Austin (Church's Chicken) Someone tried to kick in the rear door of the fast-food restaurant, then managed to get inside a separate storage building by prying off its hinges.
Assault causing injury -- Friday, 8:19 p.m., 1200 block West Crawford, A woman told police that her boyfriend's ex-wife assaulted her. The suspect and the ex-boyfriend have a child together, and the child was at the victim's house when the suspect arrived and pushed herself through the door. The case will be turned over the Grayson County District Attorney's Office.
Criminal mischief -- Friday, 10:33 p.m., Bob White, A complainant said that about 9:15 p.m. she heard a loud crash, like glass breaking. She went outside and saw that someone had thrown a brick through the back window on her vehicle.
Criminal mischief -- Friday, 8:42 a.m., 2216 S. Woodlawn (A-Alpha Storage), Someone threw a concrete block through an office window.
Fannin County Sheriff
Theft -- Friday, CR 2337, Someone entered the complainant's garage early Friday morning and took a tractor.
Theft -- Friday, CR 2970, Deputies investigated the theft of a riding lawn mower on CR 2970. After giving its description to other officers, one deputy located the suspect vehicle and the stolen lawn mower nearby. Two people were arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor theft.
Burglary -- Friday, 5000 block W. U.S. Highway 82, Someone broke through a window to get into a residence and took a television.
Sherman Police
Arrest -- Saturday, 3600 block S. U.S. Highway 75, Two suspects, ages 22 and 17, went to jail on suspicion of various charges including possession of illegal weapon, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of marijuana.
