Sherman PoliceDrug arrest -- June 29, East Cherry and South First streets, Police searched a vehicle and uncovered drugs. A 20-year-old was jailed on a charge of possession of controlled substance less than 28 grams.
Burglary -- June 29, 300 block North Carr, During a 3-hour period Monday, someone entered the complainant's home and took some electronic items.
Assault -- June 29, 10:40 p.m., 1900 block West Pecan, Police jailed a woman, 41, on a charge of assault causing injury-family violence.
Grayson County Sheriff
Theft -- June 26, 600 block Friendship, Someone put the vehicle up on blocks and removed all four wheels and tires.
Theft -- June 26, 12,100 block East Line Road, A Trenton man called the Sheriff's Office to report that days before his 5-foot-by-8-foot flatbed trailer was missing.
Burglary -- June 27, 3600 block Loy Lake Road, A decorating dispute turned into a police investigation when the homeowner found damage to the flooring and an old refrigerator and circular saws, texture hoppers, and a heavy duty extension cord were taken.
Boat stolen -- June 27, 146 Highport Road, A McKinney boat owner told Pearson that between June 13 and June 27, someone took his 1995 23-foot boat.
Assist to Sherman P.D. -- June 29, 248 Nita Road, C&S Salvage, A stolen 1996 green Pontiac van was found with the front wheels and engine removed.
Fannin County Sheriff
Theft or burglary -- June 29, 200 block Cedar Meadows Lane, The complainant said that someone took his gold pinky ring.
Theft/ criminal mischief -- June 29, 6900 block Circle Drive, Rental property was damaged.
Van Alstyne Police Another shooting --1000 block of Graywood, A man had one gunshot wound
to his shoulder. In this incident, the man was cleaning his 9-mm handgun at the time. Criminal mischief over $500 -- 600 block North Sherman, Somebody damaged a vehicle by scraping it with an unknown
object, the incident commonly called "keying."
Criminal mischief over $500 -- June 26, 200 block of S. Preston
(Diamonds Grocery), Somebody damaged a Dr. Pepper dispensing
machine in front of the grocery store.
Theft between $1,500-$20,000 -- June 26, 2:33 p.m., 200 block East Jefferson, A consignment store which closed down recently is
accused of taking the complainant's furniture from the store and not
paying the complainant for it.
DWI arrests -- On June 21, a 43-year-old McKinney man, was
jailed on a second offense, and posted $1,500 bonds the same day
as his arrest. Charges against the second, a Princeton man, 73, are
also enhanced by his having an open container of alcohol with him at
the time Milner stopped him on State Highway 5. He, too, posted $1,500 bond.

IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR DOING PD REPORTS ON THE COMP/ BETTER.LIKE THE NEWS PAPER. SHER/DEN REPORTS ARE GOOD FOR THE LOCAL PEOPLE, I CAN'T GET OUT MUCH NOT THAT I DON'T READ THE WHOLE PAPER.
