Sherman Police
Copper wire theft -- June 10, 3100 block Versaille, A business owner told police that someone took copper from an unused air conditioning unit.
Burglary -- June 9, 1200 block West Taylor. The police report said callers were concerned about a man looking through the trunk of a car.
Criminal mischief -- June 9, 1900 block Ridgecrest, Between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday, someone damaged two vehicles in the same area. The rear glass window was broken on a Jeep SUV and the passenger door window broken on a Dodge pickup.
Criminal mischief -- June 8, 301 South Walnut (Red River Historical Museum), Between 4 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Monday, someone broke a south side window of the building.
Burglary -- June 9, 1200 block West Taylor, Between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2 p.m. Tuesday, Bigham reported, someone stole an IPod 30GB music player from a vehicle.
Burglary -- June 9, 100 block Binkley Park, The complainant stated that she parked her vehicle to go walk. She returned, someone had shattered a window.
Durant Police
Arrest -- June 11, 1500 block E. U.S. Highway 70, Three males were reported to be trying to pass fraudulent checks, issued as payroll checks from Potter Sausage.
