Captains' corner, Ax edition
Here is another notebook staple for your perusal on the blog:
The Yellow Jackets use performance in practice and the previous week's game to determine the captains for the upcoming contest.
For the game against Sherman, junior Bradly Scott is the representative from the scout team, senior Cody Reeves got the nod for special teams, senior Jordan Taylor represents the offense and sophomore Hayden Chapman was selected on defense.

Covers Denison. And every week in my notebook, I run who the captains are. I have for the last three seasons since the Jackets went to this formula for deciding captains. Since I didn't have a notebook this week, I put it on the blog.

Sherman also uses performance in practice and the previous week's game to select captains. The players vote to select the captains, so the captains are representatives of the player's voice. This blog is clearly biased.
